Autodesk Construction Cloud, now part of Autodesk Forma, holds RFIs next to Docs and Build. Autodesk AI can fill RFI fields from a text prompt, and Drawing Change Analysis compares revisions. A full-set drawing compliance review is planned for early 2027.
Best for: Teams standardized on Autodesk for documents and RFIs
Manual markup path
Bluebeam is how most teams still circle a conflict before someone types the RFI. Bluebeam Max adds Smart Review, still in preview, which scans for issues such as missing sheets, missing door and plumbing tags, and gridline inconsistencies. Use it for sessions and treat its detection as a partial first pass.

Newforma keeps who sent what and when. Public and CM work still needs that audit trail. People still write the RFI after reading the set.
Best for: CM and public jobs that need a review log

Procore's RFI Agent is now generally available as part of its Digital Coworker packages. It drafts submission-ready RFIs from field input and project records and validates them against drawings, specs, submittals, and history before they go out.
Trunk Tools launched TrunkRFI in June 2026. It watches Procore and Autodesk for draft RFIs, searches project documents for an existing answer or duplicate, and drafts the RFI only when one is needed. These tools reduce bad and duplicate RFIs. Reviewing the drawing set first reduces the ones that exist because the drawings were wrong.
