Procore's AI Agents for Drawing Review: What Changed Since Copilot

What happened to Procore Copilot?

Copilot was Procore's first generative AI assistant, a natural-language search and Q&A layer over project documents. Procore's release notes record the rename: Copilot became Assist on June 20, 2025, with the same functionality. Procore's support FAQ now describes Assist and Agent Builder as first-generation products in maintenance mode that no longer accept new customers. Many people still search for “Procore Copilot,” which is why this page keeps the name in its URL.

What are Procore's Digital Coworker packages?

In its July 23, 2026 announcement, Procore made three packages generally available. The Starter Pack includes five agents: Deep Search, Submittal Review, RFI, Daily Log, and Contract Review. Pro opens a library of 20 agents covering planning, bidding, safety, quality, and risk. Enterprise adds more agents, Agent Studio for building custom agents, and customization so the AI follows company-specific processes. Procore says its agents cite their sources and stage every proposed change for human review before acting.

Procore has not published which package includes which drawing-related agent in the material we reviewed, so confirm that with your Procore representative before budgeting around it.

What does Procore's Drawing Analyst agent do?

According to Procore's Drawing Analyst page, the agent scans drawing sets and revisions to find coordination gaps, geometric changes, and viability concerns before installation. It flags missing details, spatial conflicts, and plan inconsistencies, runs an automated gap analysis across drawing versions to highlight geometric and scope changes, and then describes how each gap could affect the project with recommended next steps.

This is the agent that changes the comparison. Earlier Procore AI worked on records already in the platform. The Drawing Analyst reads the drawings themselves, so it competes directly with tools like Helonic for coordination review and revision comparison. Procore's Change Analysis agent adds a related check across changes, RFIs, drawings, and specifications to identify scope, cost, and schedule impact.

What do the Deep Search and Submittal Review agents do?

The Deep Search agent searches across specifications, drawings, and RFIs, consolidates the relevant references, highlights conflicts, and links back to the exact source files. The Submittal Review agent compares a submittal against the project specifications, writes a review summary, and flags discrepancies directly in the submittal record. Procore's announcement of the embedded Datagrid experience describes both. Does Procore's Drawing Analyst replace a dedicated drawing review tool?

It might, depending on what you need, and we would rather you test that than take our word for it. If your team runs everything in Procore and the main need is catching coordination gaps and comparing revisions, the Drawing Analyst is convenient because it lives where your documents already are.

A dedicated tool is worth evaluating when you need something Procore's published description does not cover. Helonic differs in four ways:

Yes.
