Helonic reviews issued or in-progress 2D PDF drawing sets and the project manual. Treat Bluebeam as the comment layer you already paid for. An AI reviewer can fill the first pass. The meeting still happens in Studio or on a printed set. Buying a second markup tool to replace Revu is usually the wrong design-review spend.
Bluebeam stays useful after any AI or BIM pass, because the comment still has to live on the sheet the next person will open. Pricing is per-user subscription. Best fit: architects, engineers, and GC reviewers who already live in PDFs. Keep it even if you add Helonic or Revizto. The design-review record and the detection engine are different jobs.
Revizto
Revizto is a BIM issue room used as a design-review space once models exist. Teams federate models, walk the 3D view, and pin comments for assignment. 2D sheets can appear in the same environment. The product's value is the shared 3D issue, not an automated read of the project manual.
Use Revizto when the design conversation is already in the model and you need owners and status on each pin. Do not expect it to replace a PDF spec check or a CAD AutoReview. Pricing is enterprise subscription. Best fit: BIM coordination teams running design reviews on federated models. Pair a 2D reviewer if comments still start on sheets that never entered the federation.
Autodesk BIM Collaborate
Autodesk BIM Collaborate (inside Autodesk Construction Cloud) is the cloud design-collaboration and model-coordination layer. Design Collaboration lets teams share packages and see who changed what. Model coordination aggregates models and holds clash spaces and issues so people who are not in desktop Navisworks can still see the conversation. The older BIM 360 Design Collaboration products sit behind this brand.
ACC stores PDFs and markups. It does not automatically review a 2D CD set the way Helonic does. Pricing is enterprise subscription. Best fit: project teams already standardized on Autodesk for authoring and sharing. A document AI reviewer can pull those sheets from ACC and write findings back as issues. Design review comments on a design that can still change. The owner is usually the designer, the peer reviewer, or the GC precon lead looking at SD, DD, or early CDs. The file may be CAD, a federated model, or a PDF package.
Clash detection tests whether systems occupy the same space or violate a clearance. That is the clash detection software job, often after enough geometry exists to federate.
