Keep Newforma when the audit trail is the product. Newforma added AI in 2026, including Smart Email Filing and the Vojo assistant, but neither is a full-set drawing review, so add Helonic when people still have to read 400 sheets to fill that log.

In May 2026 it added Smart Email Filing, announced the Vojo AI assistant for project search, BIM and document analysis, and assisted submittal review, and a Bluebeam Studio integration. Do not rip it out to buy a review tool.

At Newforma World in May 2026, Newforma introduced Smart Email Filing, which associates emails with projects and recommends filing them as RFIs, submittals, or action items. It also announced Vojo, an AI assistant built on an agent framework for natural-language project search, analysis of BIM models and documents, and assisted submittal review.
Newforma also announced a Bluebeam Studio integration with Konekt and a connector for Autodesk Build workflows. These strengthen the record and the review workflow, and they do not read a full drawing set for coordination or code issues.
Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud replace Newforma as the project record.
