Announcing Our Rebrand: From Articulate to Helonic
Same team, same product, same mission — new name. Here's why we made the change and what it means for you.
Today, we're officially renaming our product from Articulate to Helonic.
If you're an existing customer, nothing changes about your experience — your account, your data, your integrations, your workflow. Everything works exactly the same. You'll just see a new name and a new URL when you log in.
If you're new here: welcome to Helonic. We're an AI-powered construction drawing analysis platform backed by Y Combinator, and we help construction teams catch coordination conflicts, code compliance issues, and design errors before they become costly rework.
Why the rebrand?
We loved the name Articulate. It spoke to what we do — helping teams articulate the issues hiding in their construction drawings. But as we grew, we ran into a practical problem: Articulate is already a well-known name in another industry. Articulate 360 is a major e-learning platform used by thousands of companies, and the name overlap was creating confusion.
When a GC Googled “Articulate AI,” they'd get results for e-learning software. When we introduced ourselves at conferences, people would say, “Oh, like the training tool?” That's not the first impression we wanted.
More importantly, we wanted a name that was ours — one that construction teams could find, remember, and associate with one thing: catching issues in drawings before they become problems in the field.
Why “Helonic”?
Helonic is derived from the Greek word helonikos, relating to precision and mastery over complex systems. In the context of construction, it captures exactly what our platform does: bringing precision to the complex, multi-disciplinary process of drawing review.
It's short, distinct, and — most importantly — ours. When you search for Helonic, you'll find us. When you tell a colleague about Helonic, there's no confusion about what you mean.
What's changing
Articulate → Helonic. The product you use every day now has a new name.
usearticulate.com → helonic.com. All existing links will continue to work — we're not breaking any URLs.
New logo, new colors, new look. The UI has been refreshed to match — cleaner, faster, and easier to navigate.
What's not changing
Everything that matters stays the same:
Your account and data — same login, same projects, same analysis history. Nothing to migrate.
Your integrations — Procore and Autodesk connections remain active. No need to re-authenticate.
The AI engine — same proprietary model trained on construction drawings. Same 10+ issue categories, same accuracy, same quality gates.
The team — same founders, same engineers, same mission. We're still backed by Y Combinator, still based in the US, still obsessed with making preconstruction faster and smarter.
The company — Articulate AI, Inc. remains the legal entity behind Helonic. Helonic is our product; Articulate is our company.
The relationship: Helonic by Articulate
Think of it like Figma by Adobe, or GitHub by Microsoft. Helonic is the product you interact with every day. Articulate AI, Inc. is the company that builds and maintains it.
You'll see “By Articulate” in our footer and navigation as a nod to our roots and to make the connection clear. But when you're sharing results with your team, recommending the tool to a colleague, or pulling drawings from Procore — the name you'll use is Helonic.
What's next
A new name is just the beginning. Over the coming weeks, we're rolling out:
A cleaner, faster interface for reviewing issues on your drawings — redesigned from the ground up.
We're adding support for more building codes and jurisdictions, including NFPA 101, Title 24, and ASHRAE 90.1.
Cross-reference your drawings against project specifications to catch discrepancies before they reach the field.
We're building something that construction teams can rely on — a tool that catches what humans miss, saves real money, and gets better with every drawing we analyze. The name is new, but the mission hasn't changed.
